Terms of Service
Effective September 25, 2026.
These terms govern use of The Unwritten Archive website and the restricted internal operations application known as The Unwritten Archive Director.
Public website
The public website presents original fiction, archive materials, project information, and related policies. Content is provided for personal, lawful use. Unless stated otherwise, it may not be copied, republished, sold, or used to imply endorsement.
Authorized application use
Archive Director is limited to authorized operators and reviewers. Users must have authority to connect any platform account, access any submitted material, and perform any requested action.
Connected platforms
Use of TikTok and other connected services remains subject to those platforms' terms, policies, permissions, and availability. We do not guarantee platform approval, availability, reach, or publication.
Publication controls
Connecting an account, completing OAuth, passing technical checks, or approving creative quality does not authorize publication. Publication requires a separate human authorization bound to the exact content version and platform.
Prohibited conduct
You may not bypass authorization controls, connect accounts without permission, expose credentials, disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful material, or use the service to evade platform review requirements.
Availability and changes
The service is under active development and may change, be suspended, or become unavailable. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means the updated terms apply.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or platform acceptance. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
